Deborah Bagby |
Born with the heart of an artist, but into a family that thought computer programming was the right career path for their daughter, Deb found painting as an adult in 1996 and has never looked back. And as is often the case, success in one area tends to be contagious in other parts of one’s life. So, with the confidence that painting brought her, she chose to return to university and complete her bachelor of fine arts degree.
She has expanded her materials use into a variety of media including pen & ink, watercolor, pastels and computer illustration. She often makes art pieces and then integrates them into her computer generated graphic design pieces. Deborah designed the logo for Associated Artists of the Inland Empire. When asked, Deb encourages people looking for more than a hobby, to check into the visual arts. Being an art practitioner can bring us joy on into old age because art is a field that is inexhaustible. One will never stop learning, discovering and growing as a practitioner of art.
